Silicon Knights- "Too Human" to be released

St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada –  The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in
Los Angeles (May 13 -15) will be the first public display of the new project from Silicon Knights, the
company that created and developed the award-winning Blood Omen:  Legacy of Kain, as
well as Dark Legions, Cyber Empires, and Fantasy Empires.Set in 2450 A.D., TOO
HUMAN is a futuristic psychological thriller which contemplates the effects of genetics,
prosthetics, and the struggle of humankind to deal with the symbiosis of man and machine.
Stunning three dimensional, high res  30 fps graphics combine with seamless audio and
video vistas to created a truly brave new world for the player to explore.  In addition, the
complex and interactive plot allows each player to determine the path and ultimate
outcome of their own gameplay.  By allowing the player to cybernetically enhance him or
herself to be stronger, jump further, jump higher, and take on more damage throughout
the game, TOO HUMAN will provide an extremely unique twist on the action/RPG genre.
With over 80 hours of gameplay and 60 minutes of exceptional cinematics, this four disk
marvel will prove to be Silicon Knights’ best PlayStation offering to date.  Come check it
out at the show!

Editor's Note:
This game was created by the same people who created "Blood Omen- Legacy of Kain". Blood Omen was so good, that it recieved one of our highest ratings ever for a video game! 96%!!! And we don't give scores like this easilly. Since the quality of Kain was so good, we expect "Too Human" to be an awesome game too. The developers have stated that the game will have no load times, and the ability to save anywhere. This shows they are definetely on the right track, as those were basically my only complaints with Kain. This game has been in development for some time now, but is is easilly one of my most highly anticipated games for 1999!!! We'll definetely try to keep you updated on this one!!

Video Gamers' League™ to hold Tournaments in Thirteen Major Cities

The first nationwide league for video game players to
start competitions on November 19 in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX - The Video Gamers' League (VGL), the first
nationwide league for video game players, will kick off its
inaugural season on November 19.  The first of thirteen tournaments
will be held in Dallas, TX with league members competing against
other members during this first tournament.  The season will
culminate in May when the national finals will be held.  Cash
prizes will be awarded to the top ranking players in several
games.  Support of all three major consoles - Dreamcast,
Nintendo 64, and Playstation - is planned.

"In talking with video game players, I've found that most
of them enjoy competing with other opponents more than against
the computer," says Jeff Gross, president of the VGL.  "Many of
the players I talked to found it difficult to locate opponents.
Now they will have a way to come together on a grand scale to
get the most out of the video gaming industry."

To ensure accessibility to those unable to attend tournaments
or for those hoping to further improve their national ranking, the
VGL is currently in negotiations with major retailers to provide
space for league members to meet and play games.  By contacting
the VGL website www.videogamersleague.com members will be able to
locate other participants and schedule local matches to accrue
points to aid their national ranking.

The VGL is now inviting those interested in becoming a member
to visit their website for details.  Membership is free, and those
who join by July 15 will attain charter membership privileges.
These members will have the opportunity to assist in the selection
of tournament locations as well as in the selection of games
offered.  Their input will also influence rules regarding ranking
and tournament play.  "The VGL is first and foremost for gamers,"
says Mr. Gross.  "By getting players involved very early, we can
ensure that the league maximizes the enjoyment of our members."
During the first season, charter members will also be allowed to
register for tournament events 24 hours before other members.
